20th Annual MASTERS in the PARKSat. May 16, 2025
10am – 4pm Maranatha High School, 169 S. St John Ave. Pasadena, CA Southern California artists and patrons are invited to our Annual Masters in the Park event, held in the Spring each year since 2005 (except for 2020 & 2021). Mid-Valley Arts League members and the community can visit Maranatha High School in Pasadena, and have the opportunity to walk between a number of artists and observe how they work in different mediums. Attendees are welcome to bring sketchbooks and materials and paint alongside our Master Artists.

This is the one day a year when artists are allowed to paint in this private, secret, venue with expansive gardens, old trees, streams, fountains, waterfalls, koi pond, modern & classic architecture. Student models will be available for artists to paint.
Critique Session: At 2:30 pm everyone enjoys this lively, informative session on the patio where Master Artists will briefly discuss their paintings from the day. At this time raffle winners will be announced and gifts handed out. A $10 Donation is requested, proceeds of which will go towards MVAL’s Student Scholarship Fund to encourage promising young artists. FREE admission for children, students and Ambassador residents. Raffle tickets for amazing donations will be for sale with funds also going toward this worthy cause. |
