Co-Chairs Needed

Picture
If you're thinking of taking on a board position, why not apprentice with one now? The Workshop Chairperson is seeking a Co-Chair or Assistant to help with workshop preparation/organization and to learn the ropes of the Workshop Chair. This will be a good transition position to get involved and support the Mid-Valley Arts League.
Please contact John Taggart.

15th Annual Saturday in the Park with the Masters

Southern California artists and patrons are invited to the 15th Annual “Saturday in the Park with the Masters,”Saturday, April 6, from 10am to 3pm at Maranatha High School in Pasadena. Milford Zornes was an avid supporter of MVAL and this special event, so proceeds are used in his memory to offer art scholarships to dedicated art students and grants to the art departments of schools in the area.

Plan to spend the day moving from one Master Artist to another. Or bring your sketchbook and painting materials and plan to paint along side your favorite Master Artist. Bring water and a picnic lunch. At 2:30pm, the Master Artists will speak about their process and share the art that they created. Be sure to view MVAL Members' artwork in the EZ-up near the registration table.
Registration for the event is $15 before and $20 on the day.
