December 17 meeting - In person/Zoom Demonstration by Joe Cibere - Via Zoom
He has appeared in “Watercolor Magazine” and in the International Artists book “The Watercolor Sky and Cloud Techniques of 23 International Artists”. He is also in the new book “Splash 20” and the February 2019 issue of “Watercolor Artist” magazine. His studio is at Studio Channel Islands, Room R5 in Old Town Camarillo, CA.
“The challenge is to know when to stop and let the medium take over. That’s why the most successful paintings seem almost effortless,” Joe asserts. “I always look forward to interacting with art patrons and other artists for feedback about the creative process & affirm that visual expression is one of life’s greatest joys.     Art of the MonthArt of the Month is in person, at the monthly meeting only. Work may be framed or matted so that it can be displayed on an easel. If you have an easel, floor or table style, PLEASE bring it.

She has been painting for about 7-8 years now and is currently taking classes with Fealing Lin at the San Gabriel Community Center. Eileen lives in Santa Clarita and belongs to the Santa Clara Artists Association and the Valley Watercolor Society of the San Fernando Valley. Her medium of choice is watercolor. She is looking for like minded individuals to help her journey and further improve her work. Detra Francis-Laguna Beach, CA Detra gives her life’s timeline as college, marriage, teaching, pottery, kids, gardening, and watercolor. She attended La Verne College. Detra has been taking classes from Fealing Lin for 20 years and is a member of Orange County Fine Arts and was in Watercolor West in 2012. Her business is The Chocolate Soldier in Laguna Beach. Raul Mena-Monrovia CA Raul is retired. He enjoys working out with weights. He is interested in watercolor and getting to know other artists. She wishes to connect with local artists and find inspiration. |
