September 2019 DemonstrationPasadena-based Danielak Fine Art (www.danielakfineart.com) is an innovative art sales and consulting services company which specializes in producing art-related events in alternative venues. Founded in 2000 as DanielakArt, the company is owned by curator Margaret Danielak. Danielak Fine Art advises collectors and artists alike and conducts museum tours focusing on women-made art. Clients include the California Art Club, the Southern California Women’s Caucus for Art (SCWCA), La Galeria Gitana, the San Diego Fine Art Society, Avenue 50 Studio, Towns Burr Gallery, Silvana Gallery and the Monrovia Association of Fine Arts, among others. Margaret Danielak holds a B.A. in History from the University of California at Berkeley and was a Producer Fellow at the American Film Institute. She is the author of A Gallery without Walls: Selling Art in Alternative Venues (ArtNetwork Press). The book was a featured selection of North Light Book Club. An active volunteer in the Pasadena community, Ms. Danielak served on the Junior League of Pasadena’s ART SMART Committee, in association with The Armory Center for the Arts, on art projects for disadvantaged youth. Ms. Danielak has received numerous grants to conduct Feminist Museum Tours at California Museums including The Norton Simon Museum, The de Young Museum, and most recently, The Huntington Library-Virginia Steele Scott Galleries of American Art.
